We enter the final stage of the roadmap tomorrow. We know the retailers and those that provide services within our community have very much appreciated your support throughout the pandemic.

The majority of the adult population in England have had their vaccines. However, there may be many people working within our community that have not had both vaccines and with the Delta variant spreading rapidly we understand many may be nervous about the easing of restrictions at this particular time.

Many of the independent businesses on our high street are asking their customers to continue to wear a face covering whilst shopping with them. The majority of businesses in Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Monkseaton are family-run business and are often a very small team. If one member of the crew goes down, they take the whole ship with them and this is something our local businesses can ill afford.

This is a polite but friendly message to remind you if you're popping into a shop, attending a class or using personal services to please, please adhere to that particular businesses policy without challenge.

Let's keep one another safe and be kind.

These displays are a great addition to our sea front. As a local business, we continually strive to operate sustainably to reduce our impact on the planet. 99% of the newspapers and magazines we don't sell are recycled. Additionally, most of our newspaper are delivered traditionally thus, reducing emissions in the local area. It's important that everyone does their bit. How are you helping keep our local area clean? After more than 6-months closed, we're re-opening next Monday, 17th May!!
We'll be opening our doors every day at 12 Noon, and calling last orders at 10pm Mon-Thurs, and 11pm at the weekend.

2021 Membership is £20 (£10 concessions), and members will again benefit from UNLIMITED Snooker for £5!

Visitors are welcome.
£2.50 entry and £6/hour table rate.
