ASSISTANT MANAGER.
We are looking for someone to join our team as an assistant manager.
The role will include 4/5 shifts a week approximately 28/35 hours per week.
Previous experience in the convenience sector preferred.
The role will be to support the manager and to take control when the manager is off.
This will include-
Ordering via our EPOS system.
Stock control.
Banking / Cash management.
Dealing with deliveries.
Opening and closing the store.
The right candidate will need to be a team player capable of working well within a team but also able to take charge and lead when required.
We also have a Post office in store so previous experience would be helpful but not essential as full training would be given.

We’re pleased to say Weymouth Town Bridge has reopened for vehicles, a week ahead of schedule.

This completes repairs to defective welds that attach the deck plates (road surface) onto the bridge beams.

It was a complex process, but one that the skilled team carried out carefully and efficiently.

Many thanks to the local community, businesses and visitors to the town for your patience and support during the works.

We run a successful store and post office right on the picturesque harbourside in weymouth and are looking for people to join the team.
We have several positions available ranging from part time hours to a full time assistant manager.
We run a morning and afternoon shift system with the afternoon shift finishing at 8.15pm so no late evenings.
Free Staff meal on every shift.
Free teas and coffees.
Staff discount.
