Revisiting some old favourites and making new discoveries yesterday at the first trade tasting of the year. A few new wines arrive tomorrow and more to follow over the next few weeks! I was lucky enough to enjoy a few very good bottles and am now thinking about what my final wine of 2024 will be. Shop is open today and tomorrow 11am to 3pm should you need a top up. Cheers!

Huge thanks to everyone who has been in over the weekend. It got a little manic at times on Saturday so thank you for your patience and huge thanks to for keeping things under control (not bad for an apprentice) and for fuelling us with the mince pies and coffee! They do love to inflate a price and then chop 25% off to make you think you’re getting a bargain! They’ll soon mark this down to around £40 and as soon as they do just shout and I’ll match it.this fake discounting does my head in and makes me think we’re all fools! Shop smart, shop local

The Christmas Dozen has been an even bigger hit than usual this year! Thanks to those who have ordered and they’ll be ready from Monday. Port & Sherry Evening next Friday (sold out) and now open EVERYDAY(Sun 10:30-2:30) until Christmas!
