Whilst Ancient Age is bottled at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, you may be surprised to know that the brand Age International, owned by Takara Shuzo Ltd, of Japan owns Ancient Age. Age International also technically owns other Buffalo Trace products such as Blanton’s Single Barrel, Rock Hill Farm and Elmer T. Lee are aged and bottled at the Buffalo Trace facilities, but supposedly do not use the Buffalo Trace Mashbill #1.
