It's Advent tomorrow! We bet you're all looking forward to starting your Advent calendars, but we've got a really special treat for you all to get Advent started! We are VERY excited because for the first time ever, we've got our Christmas ad! We cannot wait to share it with you all, but we're going to be good and wait until tomorrow. So watch this space tomorrow morning - we reckon it'll give John Lewis a run for their money!

It's here! 🤩 Our 2025 calendar has landed! We'd like to thank our lovely volunteers for putting this together and everyone who contributed photographs. It's full of beautiful images from Ewelme and would look fab on any wall. Great if you're a local and love the area, and also make great gifts for those further afield. Brand new for this year and totally unique to Ewelme Village Store! 🥳 We've produced our own colouring book, full of hand drawn images, drawn by members of our very own team, including some lovely local images. We're really proud of it. We've also got coloured pencils to go with it. We think they make a brilliant Christmas present for the colouring fan in your world (and remember it's not just the kids who get to do colouring in - great for mindfulness for adults too). With Halloween behind us, we're going all in on Christmas now! Have you noticed how sparkly and twinkly the shop is looking? Our lovely Christmas stock has started to appear in the shop for you to browse and buy, our 2025 calendar has been printed and delivered and our catalogue is having final touches before it appears in your letterboxes! We're starting to get excited now!

Looking for gift ideas? We've got more than boxes of choccies/biscuits! Here's just a little taste of some of the non-foodie gifts we've got. Scented candles, diffusers, books, a lovely selection of mugs and coasters featuring scenes from Ewelme and the Chilterns. Did you know, our coasters and Ewelme mugs are produced by HMP Nuffield inmates. They work in the textiles workshop producing all sorts of lovely items, and it forms part of their pre-release programme to help them integrate back into society. Oops! 🫢 We've been a little quiet here recently. We're busy working behind the scenes on various things, including *ssshhh* 🤫 Christmas! 🙃 We've also been busy re-stocking the shop over the past week or so, and we've got lots of lovely goodies as well as our usual range of those everyday essentials. We mentioned Christmas a little while ago as we're starting to think ahead and plan to make sure we've got all the right goodies in store for you all! Knitting has begun, and we'd like to share the possible options for knitted gifts with you all and get a feel for what you'd like to see in the shop this Christmas. 🎅 First up, the ever popular elves (boy or girl). They stand about 9" tall (to the top of the head) 🎅 Next its our lovely cosy fingerless gloves - perfect for those chilly days! 🎅 Toy reindeer - stands about 7" tall 🎅 Toy penguin - stands about 7" tall 🎅 Chocolate orange covers in a variety of designs We'd love to know what you'd like the look of and happy to take orders (we've already got some elf orders!).
