Most of the quilting fabric is now cut into long quarters.
Fat quarters are traditionally half a metre by half the width so usually 50cm by half of the width, which varies.
Long quarters are cut through the width.
I have cut these in quarter metres so each piece is 25cm by the width which is 112cm. In old money thats approx 10" by 44".
The Zodiac fabric is third mtre and is one repeat. There are 33 designs incorporating all 12 astrology signs.

Shop is closed today, Tuesday 15th
I am decluttering. Decades of hoarded fabric. I am no longer sewing "things" I'm just concentrating on sewing pictures.
Most of the fabric l put out last time has sold. Today I'm sorting more of my hoarded stash! This will include long quarters (25cm x 44") of Fabric Freedom quilting cotton.
All the large lengths of fabric are sold now so next will be pieces and remnants. I've cut all the linings into smaller lengths and they are sold by weight.

Tabernacle Art Competition entries are due in from 10th to 14th June.
Apart from Monday 10th I am away.
I'm hoping the shop will be open for that week but I will not be here to advise and cut bespoke mounts.
Please call in next week if you need me to help mount and frame your work.

I have customers picking up orders so I will open Friday 29th 10.30 until 2 and then close until Tuesday 2nd Jan 2024!
