Last night was extremely busy at .wine festival in Olympia. Will we lose our voices, will we taste too much of the other producers wine, probably yes to both. That is our style and we love it. If your there today come and say hello in the English Tent. Would recommend tasting and the English bubbles, they are really good. May of tasted a few of them last night!

Typical day in Tokyo, English wine tasting in a park with two Frenchmen and an Irishman!! We had booked a venue but the weather was so good thought it would be rude not to do it outside, I was working hard!! I now highly recommend the park as a wine tasting venue. Let’s hope I don’t go lobster tonight!!

Have you ever asked yourself to what extent is our brain involved when we taste a wine? Why do we appreciate the flavours and textures of wine? Why does the bouquet of a wine effortlessly evoke distant memories and emotions? And what the meaning of life is? Well we have!!

To answer these questions and more our team led by Prof. Heber Rodrigues, our Head of Research, is going on tour and flying to Brazil to answer all these questions with the help of a English wine tasting!

Our 8 hour course will happen in Porto Alegre, in Southern Brazil, on 11 March so book your tickets and hope to see you there. We will also look to do similar courses in the UK and Europe later this year. For now looking forward to being back in beautiful Brazil.

Well that was fun. English wines have hit Brazil! Apart from the wine tasting yesterday had to do a little filming about English wine for the British Consulate in São Paulo. Do you ever look back at your pictures and wonder what exactly were you talking about at that moment….

I get asked to do some tastings in some random places but São Paulo is one of the coolest places I have been asked to do a tasting. Fingers crossed the Brazilians like English wine and fingers crossed the wine makes it in one piece. Should be a fun few days….

Well that was fun. Always like when the wine tasting group is awesome which is probably why the tasting lasted over 3 hours and we drunk all the wine!! Also loved being a cocktail tester for watch out for their new cocktails coming soon.

You may have seen the wine bus touring Essex. Combining the best of English wine and spirits, we normally have a wine tasting before we start before visiting vineyards and distilleries on the tour.
