Who knew that we can make our own Pimms at home?

starts today - anyone for Pimms? You'll need some of our Borage (Borago officinalis). A syrup of these pretty flowers was said by Gerard in 1597 to 'Quietest the phreticke and lunaticke person' . It is also found in Pimms No 1 drink .

Have you spotted any orchids yet? These flowers are unique to our chalk landscapes and can be spotted in quarries, even on verges left to flower and thrive.
