We've been invited back to (yes, we can't quite believe it either) by Jack, Char, Alfie & the Team for another great evening pouring some wonderful wines.
On Thursday 12th September we'll be serving wines paired with Chef Jack's mouth-wateringly delicious 5-course set tasting menu.
You need to be quick to book... last time this sold out in just under 48 hours, so we recommend booking as soon as you see this via The Swan on 01398 328340 to avoid disappointment.

We’ll be hosting Dan from Cottage Beer Project, our most local brewer to talk all things beer! He’ll be here with their full range for you to enjoy whilst learning how Cottage Beer Project came about.
There will be burgers (pre-order only) provided by Chef Jack at The Swan to accompany the beers, on what we hope will be a fantastic showcase of some of our local producers! The burgers are limited so don’t delay - click the link in bio to book your ticket!

The perfect excuse for a Champagne Afternoon Tea! On Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th August from 2:00-4:00pm we'll be offering afternoon teas at Corks and Cru.
With some delicious finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, delicious sweet treats and scones prepared by Bampton Delicatessen & Chef Jack . With options from non-alcoholic Sparkling Tea to Champagne, we can't wait to have a mid-week celebration with you!

🥂 May… the month of and boy are we glad it’s back! Following the fantastic launch of their 2019 Vintage on Saturday, we’re honoured to have Simon and Alison Routh, owners and winemakers visiting us on the evening of Thursday 30th May. They’ll be talking us through their 2019 Vintage, and for those that have purchased a ticket there will be a glass of their fizz to drink alongside. We’ll also have the perfect accompaniment… 🦪 oysters. As fresh as we can get from Porlock to purchase on the night.
Alongside the launch, there’ll be some wines, beers and ciders available, along with non-alcoholic options too.
Can’t wait to see you all on Thursday! 🥂

Two little words that have such big meaning to us. We are extremely grateful to everyone that voted for us awards. What a great community we have! For us as a small business this has already had such a positive impact and we’re so, so happy to give Bampton a bigger stamp on the map for everyone to enjoy!

🍹 Bank Holiday
We're going to be taking a well earned break on Monday for bank holiday and are excited to have some time to recharge. Don't worry though, we'll be back on Tuesday 7th May at 10am as usual raring to go.
Hope you have a lovely one whatever you have planned. We'll be resting and enjoying a couple of glasses with friends and family.
The winners are to be officially announced on May 2nd and we were sitting pretty just before the voting closed so fingers crossed nothing has drastically changed 😬 this is going to be the longest two weeks.

Happy International Women’s Day!
We want to highlight one of the wonderful women in wine! Showcasing one of our new wines, which we’re currently sampling, Mencia ‘Viernes’ 2021 . Their head winemaker, Olga Verde is in charge of making the wine a reality, dealing with everything from vine to glass and all of the in between!
🍷 The word Viernes translates to Friday in English, and we couldn’t think of a better fitting wine produced by women for this day!
🍷 made from Mencia grapes in the Bierzo region in Spain, the wine has intense aromas of fresh wild fruit, soft floral aromas and a mineral nuance. It is elegant, fresh and with a great finish.
🍷 The perfect accompaniment to grilled red meat dishes, or mushroom risotto.

Mediterranean sunshine, along with a generous portion of ripe mulberry and spice.
🍷Susumaniello 2021, Boccantino (Italy)
A fruity nose with intense red fruit aromas, with notes of bramble and juniper.
🍷Truffle Hound 2022, Unico Zelo (South Australia)
Smoky, amaro-like liquorice and cardamom spice. Juicy with a bright yet savoury finish.
We've also got some whisky's open (and not just Scottish) so you can have a wee dram or two to toast Burn's Night a day late! 🥃
