It's that time of year again... we are eagerly awaiting the new Wellhayes Vineyard Vintage release. What a fantastic blog post - if you haven't yet visited, we highly recommend a tour with Simon and Alison this summer at their vineyard, just a few miles from Corks and Cru HQ!

🍷New Zealand Wine Tasting - Tuesday 1st April, 6:00pm - 10:00pm🍷

We are very lucky to be welcoming one of our new suppliers, all the way from New Zealand. Dan, from Tohu Wines, the World’s first Māori owned winery will be here talking us through a selection of their wines, showcasing a variety of styles from the regions they are produced in. This will be a fantastic evening to learn more about New Zealand wines and to sample the variety of wines on offer.

This is a FREE event with tasting samples (whilst they last!) booking is required due to limited spaces, so please pop us an email at [email protected] to confirm your free tasting! We will also have wine by the glass to purchase on the evening.

🍷New Wines Night!🍷

This coming Friday, 21st February, we’ll be serving over 20 new wines by wine flights of either 3 or 5 glasses, and also wines by the glass.

Simply come along on the night and select the wines you’d like to try most and we’ll tell you all about them. As usual, we’ll have a selection of beers, ciders and non-alcoholic options too.

No booking required, but if you’d like to pre-order a cheese plate with a selection of 3 cheeses and accompaniments for the evening, order online (link in bio) or pop in to Corks and Cru!

🎅Christmas Opening Hours 🎄

⭐️We'll be open from 9:00-14:00 on Christmas Eve for all your drinks-related needs, and any last minute gifts.

⭐️Closed from Christmas Day-27th December, but re-open on Saturday 28th in the run-up to New Year's Eve, so do pop in and say hello!

Thanks for all your support this year, whether it's a like, a share or purchasing something in the shop. We're looking forward to a few days off with family & friends to re-charge and then we'll be back and raring to go.

'Tis the season... Mulled wine is here! This mulled wine is a delicious blend of damson and elderberry, and has just a hint of spice to give you extra warmth on those cold, chilly nights. We love to heat ours gently in a saucepan before serving. Why not add a couple of orange slices to enhance that Christmas citrus smell.

We'll be serving mulled wine later in the week at Countdown to Christmas! Can't wait to see you there!

Festive fizz! From English Sparkling to Prosecco and Cava and Cremant to Champagne, we have the bubbles to suit everybody’s taste.

Cider & Cheese Evening 🍎🧀

On Thursday 24th October we'll have our lovely suppliers to come and talk all things Cider!

Based in Cheriton Fitzpaine, they do every aspect by hand, from harvesting to bottling using their non-certified organic apples. A great opportunity to 'Meet the Maker' and sample some delicious cider, all paired with a selection of the best English cheeses. (Please note this event will be held at Six on Castle)

From 6pm on Friday 4th October we'll be celebrating Oktoberfest by donning our best Lederhosen and raising a glass of finest Devon Festbier along with a selection of our gorgeous German wines.

We'll be serving hot dogs topped with onions and accompanied by skin on fries prepared by Chef Jack . It's going to be a celebration of friends, fantastic food, beer and wine. So come on over, it's October!

Please note: Hot dogs by pre-order only - please purchase tickets from Corks and Cru to avoid disappointment! No ticket needed if you just want to come and sample some great beer and wine!
