🎅Christmas Opening Hours 🎄

⭐️We'll be open from 9:00-14:00 on Christmas Eve for all your drinks-related needs, and any last minute gifts.

⭐️Closed from Christmas Day-27th December, but re-open on Saturday 28th in the run-up to New Year's Eve, so do pop in and say hello!

Thanks for all your support this year, whether it's a like, a share or purchasing something in the shop. We're looking forward to a few days off with family & friends to re-charge and then we'll be back and raring to go.

🎄 Advent Day 2

'Tis the season... Mulled wine is here! This mulled wine is a delicious blend of damson and elderberry, and has just a hint of spice to give you extra warmth on those cold, chilly nights. We love to heat ours gently in a saucepan before serving. Why not add a couple of orange slices to enhance that Christmas citrus smell.

We'll be serving mulled wine later in the week at Countdown to Christmas! Can't wait to see you there!

It’s December 1st and we are back with our advent countdown to Christmas to help you make sure you have all your festive drinks in the run up to Christmas.

🎅🏻Advent Day 1

Festive fizz! From English Sparkling to Prosecco and Cava and Cremant to Champagne, we have the bubbles to suit everybody’s taste.

The best way to start Christmas Day… we like to start ours with a Mimosa or Bucks Fizz, using our house Prosecco & freshly squeezed orange juice! What’s your favourite first festive tipple?

Cider & Cheese Evening 🍎🧀

On Thursday 24th October we'll have our lovely suppliers to come and talk all things Cider!

Based in Cheriton Fitzpaine, they do every aspect by hand, from harvesting to bottling using their non-certified organic apples. A great opportunity to 'Meet the Maker' and sample some delicious cider, all paired with a selection of the best English cheeses. (Please note this event will be held at Six on Castle)

🍺Celebrating Oktoberfest!🍺

From 6pm on Friday 4th October we'll be celebrating Oktoberfest by donning our best Lederhosen and raising a glass of finest Devon Festbier along with a selection of our gorgeous German wines.

We'll be serving hot dogs topped with onions and accompanied by skin on fries prepared by Chef Jack . It's going to be a celebration of friends, fantastic food, beer and wine. So come on over, it's October!

Please note: Hot dogs by pre-order only - please purchase tickets from Corks and Cru to avoid disappointment! No ticket needed if you just want to come and sample some great beer and wine!

Just a little heads up we’ll be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, so make sure you’re stocked up for the three day weekend! We’ll be back open on Tuesday as normal after a little rest.

On Thursday 12th September we'll be serving wines paired with Chef Jack's mouth-wateringly delicious 5-course set tasting menu.

We’ll be hosting Dan from Cottage Beer Project, our most local brewer to talk all things beer! He’ll be here with their full range for you to enjoy whilst learning how Cottage Beer Project came about.

There will be burgers (pre-order only) provided by Chef Jack at The Swan to accompany the beers, on what we hope will be a fantastic showcase of some of our local producers! The burgers are limited so don’t delay - click the link in bio to book your ticket!

The perfect excuse for a Champagne Afternoon Tea! On Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th August from 2:00-4:00pm we'll be offering afternoon teas at Corks and Cru.

With some delicious finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, delicious sweet treats and scones prepared by Bampton Delicatessen & Chef Jack . With options from non-alcoholic Sparkling Tea to Champagne, we can't wait to have a mid-week celebration with you!

We all see and hear so much about the top Champagne houses so I’m already amazed at just how many small producers there are, in the small village I’m staying alone. Looking forward to discovering many more…

🥂 May… the month of and boy are we glad it’s back! Following the fantastic launch of their 2019 Vintage on Saturday, we’re honoured to have Simon and Alison Routh, owners and winemakers visiting us on the evening of Thursday 30th May. They’ll be talking us through their 2019 Vintage, and for those that have purchased a ticket there will be a glass of their fizz to drink alongside. We’ll also have the perfect accompaniment… 🦪 oysters. As fresh as we can get from Porlock to purchase on the night.

Alongside the launch, there’ll be some wines, beers and ciders available, along with non-alcoholic options too.

Can’t wait to see you all on Thursday! 🥂

Doors open from 5pm with the talk commencing at 7pm.
