🍬 9 year old Archie Barr has become Ballygally’s youngest product designer, after his imaginary packet of sweets has been made a reality by a local retailer.

Archie’s ‘Wobbly Jelly’ monster drawing has inspired the packaging design of SPAR’s newest confectionary product, Fizzy Fangs, which arrived in-store in recent weeks, with Archie on-hand to help stack the shelves and sell to shoppers.

Fizzy Fangs are available now across all SPAR and EUROSPAR stores in Northern Ireland.

Just to let you know we're open all Bank Holiday Weekend from 8am to 8pm, with the Post Office also being available between 9am and 7pm. Just received a delivery of 10L compost and disposible barbeques and charcoal - which is bound to bring on the rain! Apologies!!!

We are now offering a new service whereby you can call us on 01884 829535 and we will do your shopping for you! We will then bag it up ready for you to collect. Payment can be made over the phone or on collection.

Just to confirm that our opening hours are Monday - Sunday 8am to 8pm and that we will do our best to keep the Post Office open during these times too. However, during peak times or during deliveries, we may need to limit the number of transactions per customer on the Post Office to 2.

We would like to thank all our customers for following the rules around social distancing and would like you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep the shelves as fully stocked as we can (despite currently having trouble sourcing flour!)
