Good morning. As some of you will already be aware, the PayPoint machine has gone. (NOT the cash machine, this is still in store) This means that payments for council tax, gas, electricity, phone top ups etc… can no longer be done here. I am sorry that I could not keep this service and have been trying to come to an arrangement with PayPoint for the best part of 12 months to just break even and keep this service for the village. The terminal was costing £60.08 a month and they were charging £24 per month for the invoices to be sent out…..in comparison I was making on average £11 per month commission. This was a loss of £876.96 a year and this is an expense I just can’t keep paying and as a result the machine has had to go.

On the plus side we still stock all the essentials you forget to buy at the supermarket ☺️ and the customer service as always is excellent, just avoid the owner as usual 😂
