We are all heartbroken at South Muasdale Farm… Joyce, our beloved mare, was put to sleep last night… its been an extreme...

We are all heartbroken at South Muasdale Farm… Joyce, our beloved mare, was put to sleep last night… its been an extremely tough weekend dealing with the storm, the aftermath, no power and the store being closed too… apparently the power is due to come back on tomorrow evening, so we’re anticipating the store to reopen on Tuesday…
We’d also like to say, a huge thank you to Ddebbie Mcculy for help on the farm, with Joyce & with the store. Also to Christina Logan for loaning the generator, to keep our fridges & freezers running…
This picture is of Joyce and this was the first time & the last time I sat on her… she was a huge character on the farm & a life long companion of Stephens’ she will be sorely missed… she has left us with 3 beautiful big boys and Ruby, who is her spitting image. Ruby is in foal and due in the summer 🐴❤️

We’ve been informed our electricity will be connected again by Monday Evening… All fridges & freezers are running by generator… Between the farms & the Store, this storm isnt over for us yet… thank you for understanding
