CONCERNING RECENT DELIVERY TROUBLES

To our home delivery & all other newspaper customers

Thank you for your ongoing patience with our news supply this week.

An administrative data entry error at Smiths News accidentally registered Swanage News as ‘closed’ for a 5 day holiday (as if !) instead of some other shop.

This was news to us - and resulted in us receiving no papers at all on Wednesday and limited supplies on Thursday / Friday. Supplies may still be further affected and for all of this, we can only apologize.

Due to substitute titles and omissions, can you please check your news bills carefully for this week to ensure you agree them and we will correct any billing mistakes at the till point with you.

Special thanks to the Swanage news delivery team who start early and are out delivering in all weather every day except Christmas day.

Since it was a surprise to all of us that the papers weren’t coming on Wednesday - They waited for 3 hours (from 5.30 am) to bring the usual 300 papers out to your door.
