Our KS2 children have taken part in the Ambic STEM Challenge. This challenge offers primary school children an opportunity to plan and design a piece of furniture for their school - something funky, fun ,functional - designed by them.
Our children set about gathering their innovative ideas together and we have been so impressed with the amount of thought and hard work they put into this challenge.
From all of the fantastic designs, we have had to select a final design to enter into the competition. We have chosen Izzy from Y5s table design which changes a standard desk to a whiteboard at the pull of a lever!
Here is her design - what a great idea!
Ambic Ltd will monitor how many 'likes' this design receives. So, please spread the word and 'like' away!
The final winners, selected from one of the North East primary schools, will have their design turned into reality at Ambic Ltd's County Durham workshop- the winner can even visit and watch the process as it happens.

Just to let people know that we are still currently closed for business at the moment due to the current situation as we only trade in cash so we wouldn’t be able to provide a contactless service!
