We’ve made some slight changes to our opening hours here at the barn 🍷

Our team, we hope you all agree, work so hard during the week to bring you all of the most delicious wines from around the world, that opening up on a Sunday - the official day of rest - just didn’t feel right to us. Sundays are made for sitting back and relaxing with a tasty glass of pink, white, red… whatever takes your fancy. So, that’s exactly what we suggest you do, along with our team who will deservedly be doing the same from September! Pool and floating flamingo not necessary, but absolutely advised. 🦩

We’ll be open on Sundays until September, and from then on we’ll see you as usual from Monday - Saturday and thank you in advance for your understanding ❤️

You've seen wines labelled as No or Low Sulphite, but what does that actually mean? 🍷

Sulphites are a naturally-occurring part of the wine making process, with additional sulphites often added to help preserve the wine's freshness and avoid oxidisation. Recent years have seen a growing trend in no or low sulphite wines, meaning no - or very few - additional sulphites have been added during the winemaking process.

The benefit? A more 'natural' wine, with fewer chemicals - with a definite train of thought leaning towards the belief that fewer sulphites = the lesser the hangover! 👍
