We’ll be closing permanently in the autumn so get it while you can!

🌟next Saturday 6th July from 12 until 3pm 🌟
Lots at discounted prices as we are closing down at the end of summer -
➡️Le Franc (without labels) at £5
➡️1 litre draught now at £3.50
➡️apple brandy down from £29.50 to £25
Plus the usual fine ciders - champagne and Prosecco styles etc, limited stock available
All made from 100% apples
Also some Toschi pure fruit syrups £5 a litre bottle, add to any drink or ice cream

The Cidery will be open -
🌟THIS FRIDAY 14th 1-4pm and SATURDAY 15th 11-3pm⭐️
We’ve some bargains to be had including the award winning Le Franc at £5 a bottle (without label, normally £7.50), 1 litre draught keeved cider £4 (normally £5) and a few small bottles of very dry, very fizzy at £1 each - all made from 100% apples
Plus the usual champagne and Prosecco style bottles, royal cider and brandy.
For home wine makers or crafters we’ve loads of empty glass bottles 2 for 50p
We’ve also some delicious Toschi pure fruit syrups 1 litre bottles, these make fabulous cocktails or add to cider to give a fruity taste £5 per litre bottle: passionfruit, strawberry, cherry and mango plus some other odds and sods.
Remember - it’s Father’s Day on Sunday! 😉

Tony had an incredibly rare type of cancer of the appendix. This charity pointed us in the right direction to get the right treatment and support and for that we are truly grateful 💛

Perry and I will be at the cidery tomorrow (Wednesday 29th) between 1 and 3pm sorting stuff out so if anyone fancies any cider or brandy we still have stock. I’ll also be bringing some back to Kinver if you’d rather collect from there.
We’ve got unlabelled Le Franc for £5 plus apple brandy, cherry brandy and royal cider, also sparkling champagne and Prosecco style ciders.
We’ll also be opening on Friday and Saturday 14/15th June ahead of Father’s Day on the 16th

It’s with immense sadness to say Anthony Lovering lost his fight to cancer last Saturday. He was so very passionate about making quality cider and his background in engineering meant he came up with many crazy ways of doing so.
Thank you to all who supported him, from customers old and new, to fellow cider makers for generously sharing their knowledge.
He was a warrior to the end, please raise a glass or two to this incredible man 🥂💙🏆

Cider and Cheese Tasting.

I'm holding a small cider and cheese tasting event at the cider barn next Friday 19th April from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will be 4 or 5 different ciders and 4 or 5 different cheeses. Price is £15.00 and there is room for about 10-12 people.

We’re really pleased to say we’ll be back at Kinver Market next Saturday (with help from family 🙏)
We’ll have the usual favourites Gold Guinea champagne style, Sovereign Prosecco style, Farthing champagne style perry, Le Franc keeved and 1 litre draught bottles too.
Gold Guinea, Le Franc and Le Centime perry all picked up certificates at the recent Royal Bath & West Cider Championships in June too! 🏆

Halfpenny Green Cider Company

Due to failing health I can no longer continue the running of the Halfpenny Green Cider Co. I would like to see the company continue as a single entity and am offering it for sale in its entirety.

The company is registered as exempt from alcohol duty the model is that cider is made in house for sale direct to the public through the mobile bar at events and markets. The potential for revenue is between 80k and 120k and would suit a dedicated couple or small team

Over the past few years I have developed many innovative cider styles unique to the brand and have a strong relationship with local festivals and events

I will give support and training for as long as I can.

The sun shone, the people sang and danced and drank great beer and cider in the sun ☀️
