Delighted to support the Chapelton of Elsick 10K again this year. We’ll also be on hand to support runners and event organisers with a nice cold (non-H20) drink at the finish line🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️🍺

P.S. – The rumor that we drive around the 10K route with Devenick Double IPA’s dangling from a fishing rod to entice runners to go faster is completely unfounded… but for a small delivery fee, we can make it happen🤪

Another Boozy Brunch in the bag🙌🏻

It wasn’t the biggest of crowds, but it was certainly the loudest😂. I’m sure you can tell from the pictures that this lovely lot know how to brunch💃🏻🕺🏻

Shout-out to Brae_chapelton for providing the goods again (homemade cinnamon buns, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cured meats, fruit & filled croissants)- feedback from the punters was extremely positive as always👌🏻

The Devenick Cheeseboard also elevated its status as the pièce de résistance gaining both photo and film arrival🧀🔥

Running a business isn’t always rosey and there are bad times, however that’s the case in any line of work. As most of you know, we also work full time on top of running Devenick Drinks so it takes a hell of a lot of commitment, time, energy and sacrifice - and there literally is blood (so many broken glasses in the sink!), sweat (those boxes cook you in the summer) and tears (when someone turns up 5 mins before closing😭) that goes into it but you lot make it all worth while😘

We look forward to welcoming all customers old (not age😉) and new before we take a wee break in January.

We have a private function on Wednesday 18th Dec in The Snug, however the taproom will be open to the public from 3-7.

Friday 20th Dec has Fired Up Pizzas returning for a final pizza sesh of 2024🍕. It’s also end of term so we’ll have the perfect setting for all you hard working parents to unwind and kick start the festivities. As always, kids and pooches welcome👍🏻

🎉Celebrating 2 years at Chapelton🎉

We opened our inaugural unit on the 1st December 2022🥳Since then, we’ve taken on 2 more units and built a solid customer base within the community as well as the good folk of Newtonhill, Muchalls, Stonehaven, & Portlethen. We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting visitors from across the UK🇬🇧, USA🇺🇸 & Australia🇦🇺! We’ve welcomed horses🐴, pipe bands, santa🎅🏽, local choirs🎼, past and present footballers⚽️,10K runners🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️, bikers🛵 and of course, all your lovely doggies🐶

We’ve also continued to reinvest back into the improvement and expansion of our bottle shop, taproom and beer garden, as well as giving back to the community through charity donations👏🏻

Here’s to the next year🍺

What a phenomenal community event in Chapelton last night🤩. The Xmas lights switch, organised by the has fast become an annual pilgrimage for many across the North East and this year did not disappoint. From amazing booze, food, pipers, choirs, snow machines, all coupled with an appearance from Santa and a modern day Dons legend, it had everything you could want to kick off this festive season🎅🏽🎄

This was our 2nd year in Chapelton and once again you all turned out in absolute force👏🏻. We sold out all batches of mulled wine and hot rum & apple whilst the night was still young👀

We also had a very welcomed visit from Dunnottar Pipes and Drums. We kept their pipes well oiled and they kept us well entertained🎼👌🏻

Special shout out to Jo & Linsey from Chapelton Community Association who helped keep everyone fed with their top drawer pizzas🍕

Our second round of donations this month goes to Newtonhill Football Club. We’ve chosen to gift £232 after chatting to one of our regulars Barry McIntosh who told us of the issues with flood damage and blocked pipes in the kids changing rooms. Our wee taproom is well supported by many from the Newtonhill community so we’re more than happy show our support where we can👌🏻

As mentioned before, we match pound for pound, the generous donations from taproom pizza sales from the awesome Jo & Linsey of Fired Up Pizzas which in turn, doubles the money pot, allowing donations to be shared even further - another bonus of collaborating with like minded businesses🙌🏻

Keep an eye out for the next round of donations in December.
