THE BEST-EVER BAR SNACK IS BACK! Due to popular demand, we will be serving warm GRUYERE GOUGERES again this weekend - delicious choux pastries made with aged Gruyere cheese. We lovingly prepare them in-house and they are freshly cooked to order. These really are something else - and the pair fantastically with all wines. Come in for a drink this weekend to see what all the fuss is about!

IS THIS THE BEST EVER BAR SNACK?! We are now serving Gruyere Gougeres in our bar - a true taste of France! This is a traditional Burgundian snack to pair with wines - savoury pastries made with Gruyere cheese - served warm. We make them in-house and they are cooked to order. To say these are more-ish is a real understatement... one taste, and you'll be HOOKED!
Come into the bar this weekend and try a bowl of Gougeres to go with your wine, they really are quite delicious....

MORE NEW DATES FOR OUR AWARD-WINNING WINE TASTINGS! We have just announced a load of new dates for our ever-popular tasting sessions. There are now fresh dates to pick from for events at both our Heaton Moor and Sale branches, and are listed here: https://corkofthenorth.co.uk/pages/winetasting-events
At each tasting, we will try six delicious wines from all over the world (usually three whites and three reds, but we’ll occasionally throw in some tasty fizz too!). The events are hosted by our award-winning in-house wine experts – who always make the tastings as fun and entertaining as they are informative. Our tastings are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and everyone will also get a range of delicious cheeses to enjoy, along with the gorgeous vino. Tickets are £35pp.

We have a full-time vacancy at Cork of the North! As Greater Manchester's leading wine merchants and MFDF Food and Drink Retailer of the Year, we are busier than ever and are looking for an additional wine lover to join the team.
This bar staff/shop staff role is 40 hours per week, based at our Heaton Moor branch. It's essential to have a keen interest in wine to apply for this role, but don't worry, you don't need to be an expert - we can teach you that! Having enthusiasm and a love of vino, along with great customer service skills are the most important things. It would also be advantageous if you already have experience working in the hospitality industry.
