FOOD // Kitchen reopens this week for all your snacking needs. Back to basics this week, with simple, seasonal offerings featuring organic vegetables, top quality meat and homemade bread.

The flatbread menu will run Wednesday and Thursday dinner plus Thursday and Friday lunch. Lunch is bolstered by some cold sandwiches to grab if you're in a rush and sweet things to go with tea & coffee.

This Sunday roast returns with .iels.place () spinning records on the house deck, whilst we cook up pork belly dinners.

We'll still be selling veg boxes each week so get in touch if you'd like to be included on the WhatsApp list. Very much looking forward to continuing to work with , promoting nutrition-rich food and healthy, living soil.

Thanks for your continued support, 2024 felt like a good year for Reddish and Stockport and we're ready to try our best to make 2025 better. Hopefully we can make a place of pleasure and nourishment that also acts as somewhere for the community to get together and plot against the ghouls in power, as well as being somewhere to escape them.

Are you doing dry January or just bored of drinking but love cosy pubs? We've got a range of fantastic soft drinks, alcohol free pales and alcohol free lagers on offer in the fridge (And the heating is on!)

We always have a selection of no and low alcohol drinks alongside some fantastic coffee from .stockport to perk you up on these cold winter days.

KITCHEN THIS WEEK // Mixing up Wednesday fried chicken night this week with some rarer-spotted beef smash burgers alongside hot dogs and sweet potato fries to make it a little diner evening. Thursday we're making a fish pie with greens for a proper little winter warmer.

This Sunday sees the return of to the deck and something a little different for the roast - some kind of sausage & mash/roast dinner hybrid, an intoxicating mix of beautiful vegetables alongside slow-cooked top sausage and various other tasty shenanigans.

Lunch as usual on Thursday and Friday 12-3. Sandwiches, soup, coffee and mince pies. No menu available at the moment, graphic designer short-changed me - honestly one more mistake from that bastard and he's getting fired.

Bar is looking festive, has been in and got a pallet of arriving tomorrow, what a time to be alive!

Next Friday we're supporting the switch on of the Christmas lights in Holdsworth Square, just next to Reddish Ale. We'll have a bar on the square pouring beer alongside mulled cider, our own mulled wine, mince pies and hot dogs from .

The bar will be open too, somewhere to hide from the weather and enjoy a winter warmer.

Another weekend begins with some cracking beer! We're not messing about over here.

On cask we have a battle of two greats from , a soft hazy pale and a refreshing session bitter, both are going down a treat!

Some favourites on the keg taps today feature a peacherine and motueka hop showcase from hitting all those lovely peach and lemon/lime notes; this one won't stick around! Joined alongside by a perfect example of a hazy pale using the finest Galaxy, Vic secret and Ella hops to bring a good tropical hit to an otherwise gloomy winters day.

And if you think Oktoberfest is over, think again! cask Kellerbier is pouring and drinking beautifully, super crisp and just what you need to get the weekend started!

THIS WEEK // It's getting cold and dark so we're having a spicy week to keep us all toasty. Tonight (Wednesday) we're continuing to celebrate the good work of with a night of wings & fried things. Tomorrow we're getting into a big, rich chilli featuring Carlin peas from and stout from .

Lunch sandwiches are joined by a nutritious cauli & spinach curry, served Thursday and Friday 12-3. We'll have the coffee on and I'll knock up some spiced apple muffins to go with it.

On Sunday we're getting unseasonably tropical with a jerk roast. I absolutely love Jamaican food so will be taking a run at turning tender greens into a callaloo-inspired dish, alongside our first parsnips of the season which will be sticky, spicy and sweet with a scotch bonnet and honey glaze. will be spinning records whilst I try to get my dumplings right!

Beer stock is looking great, with the return of Beach House on cask from coming up alongside the first bitter we've had from them too. Dark treats from , and all racked and ready to go too.

THIS WEEK // Yes, we're closed today, you'll just have to have a can in the park like the rest of us. However, for the rest of the week we've got various excitement. Wednesday is fried chicken night once again, featuring the excellent hot sauces of and wonderful mushrooms from .

Thursday we're having our first inauthentic curry night where I'll be doing my versions of flavours I love from Manchester curry houses. Thursday and Friday lunch we're back on the soup and butties and I'll be knocking up some brownies to go with the delicious .stockport coffee we have on filter.

At the weekend I'm pi***ng off to the lakes to check the form at but you'll be in safe hands with Yung Josh following my Reddish Roast playbook. Elliot Barlow of will be spinning records and as usual Dan will be a safe pair of hands behind the bar. It's all going to be fine, probably.

Loads of great beer too, Luminosa Nelson is currently tasting very special on cask with plenty more to follow.

We try to keep at least one or two dark beers always on offer in our rotation, often having both cask and keg options. Come down to our cosy bar and escape those winter blues!

THIS WEEK // It's October apparently, Jesus. A week of classics coming up - chicken burgers on Wednesday with either buffalo or BBQ sauce. burgers too. Cheeseburgers and fries on Thursday.

Thursday we're closed for lunch whilst we accept some hospitality. Open from 3pm. of on the grill for evening burgers.

Friday's butties will be homemade pittas. Probably with things like ham and fried chicken and grilled veg in. Apple and cinnamon muffins will return and there'll be pumpkin soup to slip into the season.

Sunday our very own .sir will be selecting records on whilst we knock out a classic beef roast. Red wine gravy etc. Crumble probably. Yorkshires maybe.

We've got some top guest wine too, fine cask ale as usual. Non-stop smashers on keg.
