We've helped them curate their new wine list, which launches imminently and includes some exciting additions, including an Orange Wine - a white wine made by leaving the grape skins and seeds in contact with the juice, creating a deep orange-hued finish. Kat's #wineoftheweek this week is the Colline Verdicchio, Marche, Italy. 🇮🇹 Colline is produced from 100% Verdicchio grapes picked by hand in the vineyard in Central Italy’s Marche region.
🍷 It has a light straw yellow colour with accentuated greenish nuances. On the nose it expresses the terroir, it is fresh, delicate, fruity, and with aromas of flowers. The palate reflects the nose but is also accompanied by green apple and ripe pear notes. A very pleasing and pleasant wine, with the typical note of bitter almond and a long aftertaste.
🍽️ Colline is very versatile. We suggest you have it with fish or meat starters, pasta dishes or light fish dishes, white meats, salami, and cheese.
