BEAUJOLAIS DAY - Only an hour or so left to pop into CW for our free Beaujolais tasting! 🚨

From 5pm we’ll be bringing out the tables in our usual fashion, ready to celebrate this joyous occasion into the evening with wines by the glass, bottle and plates of delicious treats. See you here!

VERY NICE THINGS - We don’t talk that much about some of the delicious, rare & older bottles we have on the shelves. We recently took delivery of a small parcel of hot hot heat, including older bottles from Volnay Titan , top Chateauneuf from & more. At this time of year, whether you’re treating yourself or buying for a gift, we’ve probably got something for you. All available in our online shop and shipping anywhere in the UK, so if you’re in Dundee we’ve got you covered.

FESTIVE BOOZE - The shelves are packed with delights. There Whitebox cocktails, there are 5L mini kegs of Fruh Kolsch (And Rothaus to follow!), there’s Pere Noel in smalls and larges, there’s Bernadus Christmas ale. The Port gift packs are a PERFECT stocking filler or office secret Santa, there’s the usual festive joy of Lustau East India Solera and more. Those lovely wine jackets are a tenner and a hell of a gift too. Come and see us, some things are EXTREMELY limited, some will be replenished. Open from 11!

Come down for some lunch, come down for afternoonsies… there’s space tonight so settle in for the evening. 4 SUNDAYS TO GO - And a rethink on Sundays…. We want to be able to give you all WHAT YOU WANT. So with that in mind, we’re scrapping the ‘Sunday Sessions’ set price package per-se and, instead, we’re offering our full drinks & food menu as normal (as well as retail of course!) ☀️🍂

Book a table or chance it for walk-in bar seating. Our final 4 Sundays open for you to enjoy this year are:

RHONE TASTING - Next Tuesday 5th November, 6:30pm 🎆🎇

Get wet in a field whilst contributing to angry dog owners’ stresses OR come and taste 6 delicious wines from the Rhone Valley & eat ham and cheese? (Or just cheese if you’re not into ham….) 🍷🧀

On 5th November, we’re going to head to one of our favourite wine regions in the world. A quite formative visit, more years ago than I thought, sparked an adoration of the wines of the Rhône. Those fleshy whites that are so moreish and (when correct) those grand, deep & rich red wines that manage to carry elegance within their powerhouse selves 🍇🇫🇷

You’ll all get a plate to graze on, you’ll all have a lovely tasting, and you’ll all be in bed in good time! Tickets are £30 a head and purchased via our website 💫
