Well Done to all the villagers that volunteered for the start of the Sandon big tidy up, that came out this weekend.

There was a lots of activities going on.
Litter picking throught the village.
De weeding on paths,
Path widening by shoveling the over grown soil, weeds and grass.
Path brushing/ cleaning.
Central reservation walk way clearing of debris, soil, weeds, grass and grit.

All in all a very productive weekend. And a great achievement for all involved.

Stephen finished his triathlon in 1 hour, 41 minutes and 57 seconds.
He did really well and we are all so proud of him.

Well it's the night before the big day.....
Stephens triathlon in aid of prostate cancer uk.
Stephen kick starts his triathlon with a 400meter swim 🏊🏿‍♂️ then transitions to his bike for a 21.5km cycle🚴🏿‍♂️ before disengaging into a 5km run 🏃🏿along sand dunes 🏖then finishes up at Harlech Castle🏰. I'll keep everyone posted during the day. Hopefully the weather stays dry and get to the finish line🥇🏆 before him.🎉🎊

I'm so excited to announce that Stephen will be taking part in his first triathlon this Sunday and is hoping to raise money for Prostate Cancer uk. I hope you can help support him in his efforts. Kind regards liann

He has a just giving page in the name of Stephen Morris. And is taking part in the Harlech Triathlon on Sunday 14th April 2024.
"I am setting up this just giving page to ask you to support me and Prostate cancer uk. I Would be very grateful for just a small donation of x amount this can help me accomplish and reach the goal of £500. For this I will be competing in the Harlech Triathlon on Sunday 14th April 2024. This includes three consecutive events. Starting with a pool swim of 400 meters, I will then transition to my bike to ride 21.5 km from Harlech leisure center up through the hills to Harlech Castle, where I will then return down the same route back to the transition area to then run 5km down to the beach along the dunes then ascending up to the finish line at Harlech Castle.
Prostate Cancer uk means alot to me as my Father Alton Morris was diagnosed 5years ago with early stage prostate cancer. He was well looked after by the NHS and with the aid of the developments The Prostrate Cancer Trust has made, my father made a great recovery. I hope by helping to raise money for The Prostrate Cancer Trust it will give other men and there families a positive outcome like our family has had." Stephen x

Anyone know these two Lovely Lads.
They came in at 9.33am and decided to help them self's to a sausage roll, cheddar crinkles and water. Then left without paying. They drove off in a red car recovery truck at top speed.
I would describe the first as short, shaven head,bearded wearing a blue H and L jacket, walked like a bull dog, face to match. The side kick was tall ginger shaven head with flat cap, Hugo boss nock off top, hi vi's jacket with ironically said stollen on the back.
If you know them tell them they need to come back in and pay up or I'll pass the reg on to the police. 😡

Sandon village fete is in need of a bouncy castle. Must have an unto date public liability insurance and risk assessment.
The fete is on the 19th August setting up early and take down around 5:30pm, on Sandon village cricket ground.

Hi to the lady who popped in the shop around 2:30 Monday. You brought 2 First class stamps purposefully for the large letter. When I closed the shop later I popped a sweet wrapper in the outside bin and saw your letter with the stamps on sitting in the bin. So I've posted it in the post box for you. Hopefully it was a "senior moment" and it was ment to go in the post box. Hope that's OK.
