As you’ll be aware last week we were violently burgled by a complete idiot who thought it was good & proper to kick (over 15 times!) our door until he got in!
Since then we have had a huge amount of work to do to ensure the safety of our shop, the safety of our Staff & overall keep our business going! It’s been tough & the costs keep mounting up!
As it stands the male involved has admitted his offences but the police want to hand him a conditional caution 😔 This would allow him to pay for the damage within 4 months but if not he goes to Court and faces prosecution! However, it also means he can walk away without a criminal record!
I’ve worked so hard over the past 5 years to build up our business to what it is today & I’m torn; do I accept the outcome the police advise or not? Do his actions support a full criminal record? Will this affect his life going forward?
I suppose I look for the best in people, but I honestly don’t know on this. I’ve had to shell out ££££’s so far because of his criminality, so what’s your thoughts? 😣
