Our last change to our opening hours for the festive/new year's season will occur on Monday, 13th January (next Monday). We will be closing at 5pm as opposed to 9pm due to a private party. 🥳

🥂Salamandre Orange🥂

This trendy fella is a specific wine produced by Chateau de Saint Cyrgues, a winery in France's southern Rhône Valley region. It is an orange wine made from white grapes 🍇 undergoing extended skin contact during fermentation 😎

It's a great and gentle entry-level orange wine. Ten days on skins, this is a floral note and flavours of peach and summer fruits 🍑

The last day of 2024, huh?

We wanted to take this moment to thank each and every one of you lovely bunch for coming down and consistently showing our little pub all the love in the world. We simply couldn't exist without it.

This year has seen (after some of that classic Rob and Maz magic) the Stoat transform in to the cozy, chilled out pub it was always destined to be and slotting in to Southamptons beer quarter has been such a friendly and welcoming experience that it has simply been a pleasure.

At present , Myself and Dave are holding down the fort ready and waiting to sling the final beers of 2024. We have some cracking beers on, so come kick-start your evening in style.

Straight outta Mas de Perlier (near Cahor) this natural red is soft, subtle and gentle. The wine is alive with black cherry, strawberry and sweet spice 🍒🍓.

👻 In the small hours of Sunday morning the pubs alarms went off. Needless to say we were a little surprised when we saw what triggered the alarms on CCTV! For scale it’s about the size of a beer mat. What do you folks think it is? 🐞 👻 💡 Do we need to call Derek Acorah or the Ghostbusters? Open midday - 9pm today for drinks and paranormal investigations.

25 seconds: nearly 200 different drinks. If you haven’t popped down and checked out the ‘bottle shop’ part of the Bottle and Stoat yet then maybe today should be the day.
