Really sorry to hear about Arran Stead’s passing. He set this page up and helped us out when we set up the fishing at Wendy’s Beach hut. A young lad who was treat terribly by many in the north east. So sorry to hear about his passing.

Jason Donovan - rescheduled date

Aussie superstar Jason Donovan has been rescheduled to perform in summer 2024, after his Sunday Concert date for 2023 was stood down due to the weather.

Jason Donovan was due to perform on Sunday 16 July, as part of our This is South Tyneside Festival. However, forecasted wind gusts of up to 43mph led us to cancel the concert on safety grounds.

Jason Donovan will now be performing on Sunday 21 July 2024, with support from Two Metres Apart and Sophie Gordon, who were both billed to support Jason on the original 2023 date.

If you purchased a Priority Plus Ticket for Jason Donovan - Sunday 16 July 2023:

👉 Priority Plus Tickets purchased for Jason's 2023 concert will remain valid for the rescheduled date of 21 July 2024.

👉 For those who would prefer a refund, where tickets were purchased through Ticketmaster, please contact Ticketmaster direct for a refund. See www.ticketmaster.co.uk/southtynesidefestival for details.

👉 Where tickets were purchased from Shop @ The Word in South Shields, visitors can return to The Word for a refund.
