Our Journey...

In 2008 with the help of a Bank Loan, we purchased Bishops Newsagents. Having only been married 6 months prior and sacrificing a Honeymoon we found ourselves proud owners of our own business.

After just 4 months we decided the Store & Community deserved a greater offering. We then had to submit our plans to our Bank Manager to convince him of our plans and vision. With the help of our team we stuck to our plan.

A few years down the line our family had another two members Arjan & Amar. Our team members really helped us with managing the business whilst we could also be parents. Faced with increased competition and a large Loan still in place we struggled and found the Store was starting to struggle.

We decided we would undertake our biggest challenge to date, and decided to take on the empty unit next door, with another major refit despite our already huge outlay. It was a risk, but a gamble we had to take. The store doubled in size and the range also increased.
