Incredibly sad news this evening that our old friend and one of the biggest characters in brewing, Cerne Abbas Brewery's Vic Irvine, has finished his dance with cancer.

(Vic wanted to change the narrative of 'fighting' or 'battling' and chose to dance with his diagnosis instead. This absolutely infectious love of life is one of the many reasons he was so dear to us.)

We've recently expanded our range of delicious Diddly Squat-based drinkies to add the excellent Session Lager.

Yes, it's a little bit out of usual catchment area but impeccable credentials and the brand's commitment to British farming swayed us. Cheers!

Thank you all so very much for keeping us incredibly well exercised in the run up to Christmas.🍷📦 🏃‍♂️💨

We've said this every year now, and it's been true each time, lovely customers, you've helped is have our busiest EVER day yet again!

Now it's time to sit back, relax, enjoy ALL the delightful tipples for a couple of days, and we'll see you to top the cellar up on Friday 27th.

Have a wonderful one, it's really been an absolute pleasure helping you all find something delicious to enjoy this year. ❤️

What a lineup 😍

We've now got the full range from our friends at Witchmark Distillery in stock, including their most recently bottled 'Wiltshire' with bay leaf and grapefruit.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, you can also enjoy a distillery tour over at their stunning site on The Fonthill Estate and ogle the shiny shiny coppers as we did.

Pretty sure we just sorted your last minute 'hard to buy for' family member's presents.

Delightful Dão 😍

Dirk Niepoort is best known for being a bit of a Douro maverick, showing that the region can make tremendous unfortified wine as well as their more famous offering.

His second passion, though, is bringing back the indigenous varietals of Dão from the brink of extinction and showing the world how delicate and drinkable they are.

English raspberries rejected by the supermarkets for being broken but still bursting with flavour are given a new life by infusion with Dorset Dry Gin. 😍
