Community Update

We would like to wish everyone in the community and those who kindly provided assistance to us this year, a very Happy New Year in 2025.

We would also like to update you all on the current situation with our home and the village store.

As yet we have no updates ! Nearly 5 months on we have had zero assistance financially or otherwise from the insurance. We continuously push them for a decision.

We are sure there are lots of rumours as to what will happen. We would like to reassure you all our intentions are to re-open the shop and restore our family home as soon as we can.

The insurance have concluded their investigations etc etc and the underwriters have submitted the paperwork..we now await their decision, which has been ongoing for over a month now. Our lives, home and business in their hands !

We remain positive and hope this will quash any rumours about the future.

As a family we wish you all a Happy 2025 and hope Christmas has been kind to you all.
