After 12 and a half years (25 including time working at TT Cuthbertson’s for Don) that’s the final shift wrapped up!

On behalf of everyone that’s been a part of the Cubby’s team can I offer a huge thank you to the people of Seahouses, Bamburgh and Beadnell along with all the lovely visitors who frequented out business over the years.

It’s been a pleasure and privilege to serve the community, delivering the news to your door, and carry on the long tradition of the village newsagent’s that have operated from 48 Main Street since the 1890’s/1900’s.

I can’t thank everyone enough that has called in, left cards/gifts and offered their support during the last couple of weeks it’s been very much appreciated.

I’m sure I’ll still see you around Seahouses

Saturday 17th February

Really sorry but the wholesaler has mixed up our supplement delivery for the Saturday Times, we’ve received additional copies of Telegraph’s and none of the Times Saturday sections.
While we have claimed the missing section, in the slim hope they might correct this mistake, we’ve included the Telegraph Saturday section with the Times that are out for delivery.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Really sorry deliveries will be running late today as a large number of national titles have been delayed to our Smiths depot due to the snowy conditions overnight on the M62.

Dropped off this morning by author Neil Forsyth with fun illustrations by Graeme Hogg, Shore Patrol The Adventures of the Farne Islands Friends is a collection of fun stories with important lessons about keeping our shore line safe and clean for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds from this edition will be donated to purchasing medical supplies to help the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦
