Met this lovely chap today Peter. Peter is riding his wheelchair and trailer From Lands end to John-ogroats. He left lands end 5am this morning and is heading to a stop point in Truro this evening. He is raising money for Canine Partners for people who are in need of assistance dogs...

So, we held off sharing this video after a serious situation happened and a very lovely person was very poorly. but after receiving the good news that the person in question is doing much better we thought we would share some of the feast dance 2024 with you all.
Again what an amazing, awesome community, who again came together and looked after a fellow person who needed help x You guys know who you are. Well done for pulling together and making such a difference x

What a great afternoon with all the children from the school and St Day and Carharrack band, followed by a lovely afternoon at the old Rugby ground for feast afternoon. Really looking forward to watching the dancing this evening x

Feast Day Monday 10th June opening times

Shop opens 6am~2pm

Shop closed 2pm~4pm

Feast day school parade starts 2pm from school, followed by children singing in mills street, Children's school feast day dance and sports races and fair at the old rugby field see you there

Shop reopens 4pm~8pm

Don't forget to come to the evening dances!!

Childrens dance and Adult dance start 6pm onwards from the old church.

And maybe finish off for a feast drink at St Day Inn with Sarah and Paul.

Don't forget the Ale festival Saturday 8th June (tomorrow) with Rachel and Mark at The Star Inn Vogue 12pm~12am

After a weekend at the festival and smelling and eating some lovely street food, I had to make a mild chicken curry with chickpeas spinach and veg. Served with homemade coconut rice, mango chutney, garlic pickle and a mini garlic naan x delicious 😋😋😋
