Some of you may have seen an article today stating that Costcutter on Ramshill Road has received a 1 star hygiene rating...

Poor reporting and fact checking by the people who have published this article has resulted in an image of the wrong shop being used. Anyone in the area will be aware that there is ANOTHER Costcutter on Ramshill Road, which is opposite Sainsburys local. I am unaware of that shops Hygiene rating.

JUST TO CONFIRM WE HAVE NO AFFILIATION TO ANY OTHER PREMISES WHATSOEVER.

We take great pride in adhering to keeping our store clean and our customers safe and this has resulted in our shop being awarded a 4 star hygiene rating from Scarborough Council on the 16/6/2022.

False Information like this can be extremely damaging to a business and in a time where the industry is facing more challenges than we have ever faced this is not something we take lightly.

I am currently seeking legal advice to have this FALSE information removed.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could please report the pages sharing the wrong photograph.

We found this Covid 19 Face Mask in store when we were tidying up at the end of today's shift.

We are all finished and locked up tonight but we are back in store from 5am tomorrow.

We aren't sure who's it is but it's a very fancy design, and theres a slight stain on the inside so we are sure one of you will be able to help us reunite it with its owner...

Will finally got chance to have his break and try one of our Ice Creams from our new Freezer... But it melted before he got chance to eat it 🙈
