Roast update:
Open today from 2 and we have a delicious joint in from Cornwall Family Butcher. Roast Topside, Cauliflower cheese and roasted veg £16 per person.

Then roasts will be on pause for the next 3 Sundays. Next week we’re in London to see play very proud after their 1st gig was in this backstreet boozer!

We’ve then got a couple of things on the Sundays after, one of them being the ever so hard working birthday.

So after today, roasts won’t return until Sunday 13th April. The last roast of the season will be Easter Sunday.

As were otherwise engaged on Mothering Sunday. Why not treat mum on Saturday evening instead the signature dish LOBSTER RAVIOLI will be featured alongside other delicious dishes.

Well, That was quite something. @runningandwine had a great day celebrating becoming an adult. 😂 we’ve had a lovely time away in London too. Heading back now and we WILL be open this evening from 6. Not only is it a big celebration for Hels this year, 2024 also marks 10 years of us being custodians of here. Kris & Helen acquired the freehold of the Kings Arms, Mevagissey in 2014. We live and work here with our boy Alfred. We are proud to be independent, we source all of our offerings responsibly. Our food is determined by not only the seasons but the sea and the land that surrounds us, with Kris cooking Everything that is on our daily changing menu.

2016; Meva Bakery and Meva Wines were created in The Kings. We bake Tuesday - Saturday 12 months of the year. Our bread, pasties, croissants and scones can be found in a handful of select outlets, as well as from our bar. Meva Wines has a broad selection of wines: reds, whites, rosés and champagne, ales lagers and spirits; we have the lot for you to take home and enjoy.

We hope to welcome you into our public home very soon.
