Ok, we confess… It was an April Fools!

While Lickable Labels on our exclusive Definition by Majestic range sounds like a genius idea (and a great way to get people talking), we were just pulling your leg… Please don’t actually lick our bottles!

But the good news? You can still try your wine before you buy anytime here in store…

We have wines open to taste seven days a week at our in-store Tasting Counter, offering you the opportunity to try a selection of wines before you buy, receive tasting notes and get expert advice.

Our experienced and highly trained ‘Store Sommeliers’ all trained in WSET level 2 and above, are always on hand to guide you - no label-licking required.

Come and visit us in store to try one of our exclusive Definition wines, as well as other team favourites at our Tasting Counter this week.

After extensive customer research (and a little wine-fuelled innovation), we’re thrilled to unveil a world-first in wine sampling.

We are introducing “Lickable Labels” on our exclusive Definition by Majestic range, with the first bottles now available in store.

The Definition range brings the world's greatest wine styles to Majestic customers. Lick the designated patch while reading the tasting notes to sample and experience the wine before you pop the cork.
