The Experiment in Hackney was a very special place. Two of the best breweries in the UK brought together to serve super fresh amazing beers out of a very cool location in East London. It was the first place I ever tried Putty and always had on big dank top tier beers from both breweries.

Sadly the experiment concluded in 2023 but we are bringing both breweries in for an epic celebration of their beers.

and will be across all 5 of our taps alongside lots of cans in the fridges. And both breweries will be in the house for you to chat to.

It's going to be a big one.

Friday 1st November we're bringing not just one but two massive beer releases! We're also an official launch venue for this year's Evil Dead series from .

The Evil Dead - 6% Sour - - A sour brewed with over 600kg of blackberry, raspberry, sour cherry and vanilla.

Evil Dead 2 - 8% DIPA - - A double IPA hopped with Galaxy, Nelson and Idaho 7.

Army of Darkness - 10% Imperial Stout - - Cacao nibs, orange juice and orange peel blend to create this Chocolate Orange inspired impy stout

All three beers in can in the fridge from 5pm tomorrow.

annual release of their special Strata edition of Steady Rolling Man is Friday 1st November!!

We'll be pouring both the 5.2% pale and the 8% DIPA versions on draft alongside cans in the fridge.

Last year's editions were both tasting phenomenal.

What a juicy lineup of taps for the weekend, in every sense!

We've got an absolute belter on tap 5;
mango, pineapple, passion fruit, vanilla ice cream 8.5% sour. Clocking in at 4.29 on untappd this is basically a solero ice cream in a glass. Thick and juicy with no hint of the abv!

We're also pouring a superb double dry hopped pale from and that is thick and hazy way beyond it's sessionable 4.5% abv. And a big punchy 6.8% IPA from with bucketloads of mango and pineapple flavour.

have gone and made a coffee version of their ubiquitous milk stout and we just had to put that on!

And of course our excellent house lager from Omnipollo.

We've got a big beast of a double IPA back on tap number 5!! make some exceptional DIPAs and this is no exception. Creep show is super hazy, 8% and hopped with Nectaron, Galaxy and Citra. 4.21 on untappd and tasting fantastic.

We're also pouring a superb session beer from , a massive hoppy 6.8% IPA from and two house favourites; Milk Shake from and Prize Pils from .

Always great to have back in the fridge, especially when it's one of the highest rated IPAs we've stocked!

Congress Street - 7.2% hazy IPA - 4.28 untappd

Trillium's flagship IPA highlights the distinctively aromatic Australian hop Galaxy. The nose bursts with pine, citrus rind, melon and pineapple. Pronounced flavours of peach, clementine, and tropical fruits are accentuated with moderate bitterness and balanced by a light, biscuity malt character.

Apple Pie Cider is back in stock!!

This is a firm favourite at Wolfe and Castle with a lot of thirsty cider drinkers disappointed when it was out of season! So I'm very happy to share that we are now fully stocked again.

Gently spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves, this tastes exactly like apple pie in a glass!

Lots of lovely on for the weekend, which can only be a good thing!

We're pouring Something We Said, a classic Floc hazy that delivers vibrant notes of tropical fruits and citrus. Super juicy, 6% and packed with Azacca, Mosaic and Citra Cryo.

Alongside that we've got Floc's classic all day drinking hazy pale; Whisper, a firm Wolfe & Castle favourite, Hazy Pale from , our house lager from and the final beer in the John Carpenter series from . Prince of Darkness is a rich smokey 5.4% vanilla and coffee stout, perfect for the evenings drawing in!

Never Sleep - 6.5% IPA - - DDH IPA hopped with Strata, Riwaka, Citra, Citra Cryo, Strata CGX & Riwaka Hop Kief.

Pyramid Scheme - 8% DIPA - - 2nd installment in a three way collab series between three of the best breweries in the UK. A double IPA hopped with Eggers Special, HBC 1019, Galaxy Spectrum & Riwaka Hop Kief.

Both tasting amazing and in the fridge now!

Who doesn't love a big boy sandwich?! The always excellent have brewed the perfect IPA to drink alongside your perfect sandwich! Big, dank, hazy and super hoppy, Pressure Drop know exactly what they're doing with this kind of beer.

We're pouring that alongside the legendary pistachio and honeycomb stout from ; Woodland Creatures. A couple of fantastic pales from and our friends and of course our house lager from .

In a very modest and understated way, have quietly maneuvered themselves into the top tier of the UK brewing scene. The fact that they've just released a series of beers with some of the best East Coast US breweries is testament to how highly they are considered by other brewers.

Here at Wolfe & Castle we love films almost as much as we love beer! So when we heard that , one of our favourite breweries were releasing a series of beers based on John Carpemter films there was no way we were going to not get them in!

The beers are tasting fantastic and the can art is looking incredible!

Escape from New York - 4% Session IPA - Mosaic and Vic Secret hops give action packed flavours and aromas of fresh lime and pineapple. Do you accept your mission to rescue your taste buds with this session IPA.

The Fog - 6% Hazy IPA - Huge passion fruit notes burst out of this Strata and Mosaic hazy (foggy) IPA like vengeful ghosts. There's something delicious in The Fog.

They Live - 4.8% Blue Bubblegum Sour - This bizarre alien like blue sour beer is best consumed whilst wearing dark glasses. It's not all out of bubblegum, but it does kick ass. Obey, conform and consume They Live.

Oktoberfest is coming to Wolfe and Castle!! 🍺 🍻 🍺

The largest beer festival in the world takes part annually in Munich between mid to late September and the first Sunday in October and is a huge celebration of all things beer, community and German culture.

We'll be showcasing a small selection of the incredible beers made especially for the festival alongside a one off Festbier brewed by local legends .

Kicking off from Friday 27th!

The superb have been kind enough to give us early access to two very special beers which aren't on general release until next week.

False Azure is a 7.2% IPA version of their west coast classic; Pale Fire. Bitter and piney, this is a fantastic proper strength IPA westie!

Welcome to the Internet is a re release of one of PDs best double IPAs. Weighing in at 8.4% this is a fantastic big hazy beast of a DIPA.

Both beers in our fridge now.

The final two 10 year collabs are in and they are both incredible! 🍺 🍻

A 6.5% IPA with yuzu collab with ; a real lightness of touch has been applied here with the yuzu. It's a stone cold classic Citra and Mosaic IPA first and foremost with massive hits of citrus complemented nicely with the addition of the yuzu. Verdant don't really make adjunct based beers but apparently when they do they do it perfectly.

One of the most exciting breweries to have come out of the US in recent years; have exploded onto the brewing scene establishing themselves as one of the kings of massive dank New England style haze bombs and this collab is everything you'd expect from that. Simply put; a sublime 8% hop forward hazy DIPA, not to be missed.

While stocks last all four anniversary collabs are in our fridge now. Happy 10th birthday
