Evri.
We now deal with evri deliveries and returns via ourpost office counter. You can choose to have your parcel dropped to us, drivers can now drop to us if no one is home and you can now return your parcels via evri.
PLEASE NOTE:- As yet a printer was not available to us to print your label so this will need to be done by you. If you do not have a printer please take your parcel to sedlescome PO.
Please bear with us while we get used to our new gadget we have to use to process these in and out.

Dear customers,
With Christmas approaching fast our little post office gets very busy. Please note that our cut off time for post to leave on the same day is 4.45pm. The post must be processed by then to go. Please Be aware that queing times will be longer than usual so please bear with us. If you are posting parcels abroad they will all need a customs form attatched to the outside which must be filled out detailing contents. If you have several to post you are welcome to come in and collect some so these are done before you arrive.
Dont forget that there is also some more royal mail strikes due so this will affect when the post leaves us but also can delay when it is received.
(As a little help for knowing how to send your UK parcels
Normal 1st & 2nd can insure contents to £20, signed for to £50 and anything above would be special delivery.)

TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS.
From tomorrow Tuesday 30th November, we will be following the new face mask requirements. As before we may ask that you wait outside if we feel the shop is busy so please bear with us. This is for all of ours and your saftey. None of us want a repeat of last Christmas.
Please also bear in mind that the post office also gets busier from now till Christmas so longer waiting times are possible. We will do our best to make shopping with us as comfortable as possible so please help us to do so.

NEW POST OFFICE SERVICE
From Tuesday 24th August, our post office will offer a local collect service for dpd.
When ordering make sure you select local collect at the checkout and choose Staplecross. Handy for people out or at work but needing something delivered, and can be collected at a more convenient time. (As with all local collect you must have proof of id when collecting).

we are unable to accept any covid tests of any sort into the Post Office. This is a Post Office rule not our own. Royal Mail deal with these by them being put straight into the PRIORITY MAIL BOX outside of the shop.

On Monday 19th July, we are going to be continuing the face mask/ covering policy as well as social distancing and sanitising.
Numbers are on the rise and we feel this is the best way to help protect everyone and will help alot of people feel more comfortable whilst doing their shopping. We do our best while serving to keep an eye on numbers but at times when people just walk in it is hard to do while our attention is on serving so please help us by doing as alot of you already do by poking your head in and checking.
We also try to ask people about coverings but at times we have learnt that for our saftey we have not been able to. We sometimes suffer abuse for asking such questions so please dont think we dont bother we just have to at times judge if we feel we can.
To our local and regular users that we know are exempt, if you feel you would like to shop at a quieter time, please contact us and we can let you know when this is most likely.
