Just to remind everyone that we will be closed next week from Monday 25 December to Friday 29 December. We will be open again on Saturday 30 December & Sunday 31 December.

We will be closed on Monday 1 January, and open as usual from Tuesday 2 January .

Just a little reminder that we will be closed for Christmas from Monday 25 December, and reopen on Saturday 30 December.

If you would like any bread, rolls or cakes from the baker on Saturday 23 December, we must have your order in by Thursday 21 December. We will only be ordering in what is needed for the weekend.

We have a selection of seasonal goodies to tempt you- delicious mince pies, mulled wine tea bread & homemade Christmas puddings from Farmhouse Cookery, Christmas jams & chutneys from Loft Jams, Christmas marmalade from Auntie Vals, Christmas pickles from Deerview, Christmas biscuits & and delicious fruit cake from Cake Angel, Gingerbread gift bags from Horsham Gingerbread to name a few…..

We also have a selection of gift ideas for those last minute Christmas presents…

She is taking orders for her wreaths, but they are limited - so please don’t miss out. They are made from biodegradable materials and are recyclable .

A very big “Thank You “to everyone who came along and supported us on our MacMillan coffee and cake day last Saturday.

Good afternoon to all our lovely friends and customers, hope you are having a great weekend.

We are looking into hosting a pop up craft event at Meadow Stores at the end of August.

If anyone is interested in having a table to display & sell their hand made craft items, please contact us at [email protected] by Saturday 13 August to discuss further.

We are able to take 4/5 tables depending upon interest shown. If it proves to be successful then we may look at holding more in the future.

Just to say that we have some beautiful homegrown flower bouquets from Liz at Furze Flowers in at the moment.

We have some delicious peaches & nectarines , strawberries and cream that will go perfectly with the Pavlova bases from Farmhouse Cookery.

We also have delicious Nutbourne tomatoes, fresh grown lettuces , baby new potatoes & beetroot from South Hills Farm.

The homemade cakes and Viennese whirls, from Rubys Cakes, are proving to be very popular with our customers!

We have some great new sausage flavours and beef burgers from Bangers Galore at the moment.

There is a new coffee syrup addition - pistachio, which is proving popular!

We look forward to seeing you at Meadow Stores in the coming days……….

We have a black greyhound with a purple & red collar that the vet is trying to catch and take back to the vets here at Abingworth Meadows Cafe & Store. Please if you know the owners let them know that we are trying to catch & take to Meadows vets.

We are getting ready for Easter here at Meadow Stores!!

We will be doing the Easter bonnet competition again, for the little ones to decorate a bonnet & to post a picture either wearing the bonnet or just of the decorated bonnet on our page, by Easter Monday. We will announce the winning bonnets after this on Tuesday.
We have a selection of Easter goodies in the shop, so come and have a look!!

We also have some new season Nutbourne tomatoes available!!

We have another new cake supplier in the shop- Ruby’s cakes 🍰. They have a range of delicious Viennese whirls, that just melt in your mouth!!! Don’t take our word for it- come and try them for yourself!!

Just a little note to say that Chinese New Year begins tomorrow, Sunday 22 January, and lasts for 15 days.
This year it is the year of the Rabbit , which is traditionally the symbol of hope and peace.
We have a selection of ingredients to help towards your homemade Chinese meal. Pop in and take a look….

We also have some new jam’s & chutney from Auntie Vals, Bury honey and alstroemerias from Chefs Farm.
We are also hoping to add a new supplier to the store in the next few weeks, so watch this space!
