In 2019 we were nominated for Scotland’s Business Awards for ‘Best Newsagent’ in the Ayrshire Regional Finals.

As always, our aim as a newsagent is to provide the highest standard of customer service as possible but due to unprecedented circumstances the service may have to change on a daily basis as directed by the Government and health officials.

We will continue to strive to offer the best possible service with home newspaper deliveries but delivery times may alter due to staffing levels and other commitments or changes with advice from the Government. Please be patient during this difficult time.

We will advise you of any changes to our service on our brand-new website www.jbrownnews.com. On our homepage you will find daily alerts about our service.

If you wish to pay your bill this can be done by registering on our website. Once registered you can request your bill and pay by “faster payment” through your online bank account. Our bank details will be shown on the bill. Alternatively, if we are open, payment can be made by payment card over the phone.

We may have to change our store opening times in order to make deliveries in the morning. If this happens any changes will be notified on our website or on Facebook.

If we need to close due to self isolation or advice from officials this information will be on our website, Facebook and our answering machine.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.
