A jolly 24 in for our tasting with Marta from Marta Vine as our guest. Really great to learn about the regions of Portugal and the many grape varieties grown there. We bought a load of wines as we knew they’d be popular.. but as we sold most of it we are ordering again this week! (And adding some very fine vintage ports, pink ports & tawnies from Marta Vine’s excellent range!) 🇵🇹 🍷 🧀 🥖 🍾🇵🇹

On taste this weekend some cracking winter vinos including a previous wine of the week from. Joanna Simon & a top 10 white from the wine merchants top 50 🇫🇷 . As well as a superb Berry Crumble pastry sour craft beer! 🥧 🍺!

Hi All, A few months ago I mentioned this product was in production and it has finally arrived!

The background to this exceptional gin is a collaboration between a good friend of mine who works for a Community Interest Company called Lets Make A Difference (or Let’s MAD) and a muti-award winning gin distiller.

This Community Interest Company works with local charities helping to find long term housing for people who are otherwise homeless and also to help them find a route back into employment. This is a non-profit that pays no wages or dividends with all income going back out to housing and necessities (beds, sofas etc).

As it's all for a good cause, Dvino wines will be donating 100% of the profits back to Lets MAD to be used for their good works.

****All well and good Dunc, but what does it taste like?****

Well as one would expect from a distiller boasting 94 points from the IWSC, a London Spirit Awards silver medal, a Great Taste award & a Gin Guide Award winner, this is a top, top product.

A copper still London dry gin, ultra smooth with a rich mouth-feel, juniper at the forefront with 13 botanicals used, you get citrus & guava with a hint of clementine. Just a beautiful & very dry gin!

Will it be on taste at Dvino wines?.... Of course!

They have very kindly supplied us with a bottle for our customers to sample and it will be open from Saturday

And the price? The RRP on this gin is £38.99 but as this is DVino wines, you will pay just £35.99 AND receive 5% off if you are on the customer list, as with all our products! And remember, all proceeds will go back to the charity, so you will experience a warm glow from doing a good deed (40% abv)

5:30pm- 8:30pm

So I've managed to secure the services of genuine frenchman Jean-Christophe Massonnet, of Berkmann wines who (along with DVino) supply as number of high end restaurants and eateries, many of which boast Michelin stars & AA rosettes so expect great things! 🇫🇷 🍷

As usual you'll be treated to deli catering whilst you sample a glorious collection of wines, spirits and fortified for the season. 🧀 🥖 🥗 🍖

-Arrive any time between 5:30 and 6:30pm

-Fizz on arrival

-Deli catering (including vegan)

Tasting some very fine Cognacs in store today, including a honey cognac liqueur and a fantastic Vieux pineau des Charentes
