We've noticed in store some confusion as to new stamps and old with some customers thinking anything with the queen's head is an old stamp, old stamps are non-barcoded ones so even if a stamp still has the queen's head as long as it has one of the barcodes shown on the right hand side aswell it is a current stamp.

Post office international services are now up and running again as normal however we now have to type your customs forms in manually as well as customs labels being filled out by the customer so please be patient with us as this takes a little longer.

The last postage day for 2nd class to get there for Christmas has now gone and all last dates for international postage too, inland mail still has the possibility of getting there 1st class but the only guarantee for Christmas is with a special delivery, ask in store for advice and please remember there are strikes tomorrow and Thursday so no mail will leave the store on these days.

The last recommended postage dates for Xmas have been moved forward, 2nd class is now Monday 12th, 1st Class is Friday 16th and Special deliveries are Wednesday 21st

Please be aware that a lot of the last advised postage dates for Christmas are earlier this year and with postage strikes we advise that you get them in as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment, Australia’s and New Zealand’s last recommended postage dates with Royal Mail are tomorrow but Royal Mail are striking today and tomorrow, parcelforce options are still available.
