Mini Market North Prospect

The Mini Market in North Prospect is well known for it's friendly banter. It is a convenience store that is full of character and characters. For a local neighborhood shop we compete successfully against supermarkets in price and incomparable friendly service. Our customers come in for their daily bargains, monthly deals or just to catch up on the local news. We don't mind, all are welcome! At the

start of the regeneration of North Prospect, there were concerns for the future of the shop and the jobs for the locally employed staff 19 in total, because of the additional retail in the new beacon building. After assurances from Plymouth Community Homes that they would not duplicate the shops existing on North Prospect Road, the McCarthy's felt confident enough to take on and refurbish the Newsagents next door (Mini Market News) and provided 4 extra jobs for local residents. They also refurbished the Mini Market to help create their own "regeneration" of the shopping parade.
