It's been a busy summer at The Hop Hatch and Kawaffle so we're taking our yearly September break for couple of weeks.

We're sorry if you were planning on coming this Saturday so we're opening this Friday (sorry the license is just to 5pm) but hopefully you'll be able to pop by and pick up some goodies for the weekend.

Just a reminder that we've got a special tap takeover weekend with Plymouth's own Summerskills Brewery bringing a selection of their beers to The Hatch. We're open until 7pm Friday at the Plymouth Market Sunset Market.

Also carnival day Saturday so the West End will be the place to be, lots going on for everyone to enjoy, and as usual the amazing choice of street food available in the market.

Top class locally made beers from Braslou Biere for the discerning drinker, we have 3 stunners for you to try. The perfectly balanced St Issey IPA, the luscious Belgian Berger Blonde and the gentle yet aromatic Prideaux Walled Garden saison.

Also they are in 330ml, the classiest of can sizes

Ah what a great day! A delivery from Braslou Biere and a chance to meet the legend himself, Tommy!

If you don't know Cornish brewery Braslou Biere then check them out online, his social media always makes us laugh - you could also buy his book!! But even better, come and try his awesome beer only at The Hop Hatch.

Are we the only stockist in Plymouth?? We think we may well be!

Try something new this Saturday, as we've got a variety of delicious new beers in from Quantock Brewery with something for all tastes.

Try a punchy DIPA, a fruity sour and a malty golden bitter, as well as the newly released collab with The Stannary Brewing Co.

And this is how we end our busiest week ever at Kawaffle, with another event!

So we're open at the usual hours 11am-4pm and 12-4pm.

Then we scoot on over to Plymstock to join for their open day/ evening offering Savoury Waffles and beer. Yep the Masala one is available here only today!

Kawaffle will be there in the evening serving their waffles!!

Brewery open day Saturday 13th July from 1200 - 2000. Have a look around the brewery, try our beers, and/or take some home. In the evening we'll be joined by the team for some tasty treats 🍻

Some tasty new Devon ciders from the good folk at Hunt's Cider this weekend.

Mango & Passionfruit or Elderflower, both are dangerously drinkable! Perfect to drink here, take home or even boxed up as a gift!

We're open again today!!

Buy food from any of the fantastic vendors in Plymouth Market and you can sit at the tables outside Hop Hatch to drink and eat together.

Obviously we love Kawaffle - savoury Bubble Waffles with a beer is just perfection. But how about also trying the incredible Korean, Mauritian or Nepalese or Middle Eastern food?

There's so much choice in Plymouth Market you'll have to keep coming back.
