🥃 Visited last week for a quick tour and tasting. Super set up and extremely enthusiastic bunch making single cask, cask strength whisky using some of the tastiest and most interesting casks at their disposal. We now have a stock of a few of their Man O’ Words whiskies which are an un-peated expression and a tribute to Rabbie Burns as well as a couple of their Man O’ Swords which are the peated expressions to acknowledge Robert the Bruce. My favourite was the Fino Sherry cask finish Man O’ Words, smelt like orange jelly 🍊🧡 Glasgow University helped them excavate a site out the front of the distillery where there had been two outdoor stills built into the ground when Johnnie Walker had owned it over 100 years ago.

🌹🍇🪻We had an amazingly insightful and highly educational visit to and obviously a few samples of their delicious gins and very exciting new releases of Vermouths made using grapes and botanicals grown in their self sufficient gardens. Using their own water supply and gardening using traditional methods to avoid ever having to use any chemicals on the herbs and flowers. Check out their bee hives and try and count the staggering amount of different mints they grow. Highly recommend visiting and make sure you stop in their cafe afterwards for a delicious bite and maybe another Gin!!! 🍸

🍷🎡 We enjoyed a day out at the other week, Wild is a natural wine fair held at the amazing restaurant. Keep your eyes peeled for some super interesting wines hitting our shelves soon that were painstakingly tried by us there and selected for you. Don’t say we aren’t good to you. is also open to the public and I can’t recommend checking it out enough. 🥂

🍻🍻 So glad to have beers back on our shelves, having stocked them from almost day one when they were brewing out of an actual campervan to now, where they have expanded their brewery, added a taproom, rebranded their range and made them all Gluten Free without compromising a single drop of flavour. The Extra Black is a must try as are the rest! 🍻🍻

Excited to have new barrel aged beers in stock including a Manhattan Sour Wild Cherry Ale aged in Sweet Vermouth & Rye casks, a Whiskey Sour and a Bretted Amber Ale aged in ex Calvados and Cognac casks. We tried the Amber Ale and it’s incredibly complex and funky. 🍻

On the left we have their Vodka made from locally sourced potatoes 🥔 in the middle is their Limoncello which has had Valencian Lemons 🍋 macerating in their own Vodka and finally on the right is my personal favourite, Crème de Cassis, made from local blackcurrants 🫐 that would have went to waste if they weren’t macerated in Ogilvy Vodka before being put in their new eco-friendly lightweight aluminium bottles that are easier to recycle ♻️ and weigh less when being transported 🚚

Very interesting new wines from ☀️ An Orange Wine made from Grenache Blanc/Gris & Roussanne and super fresh and light Mourvèdre and Carbonic Maceration Syrah blend. That fresh it can be drunk straight out the bottle or whatever receptacle you can get your hands on 🍷🍺
