We are delighted to announce that we were the winners in the ‘Excellence in Training and Education’ category at this year’s Drinks Retailing Awards. This is the first year that this award has been offered, and we are thrilled to be the first winners!
At The Oxford Wine Company, training and education are at the heart of everything we do. We ensure that we can offer the best possible advice by educating our staff through WSET courses and in-depth staff training. In fact, we now have ten team members who hold the prestigious WSET Diploma, and two currently studying for the qualification. We love to share our knowledge and passion for wine through our busy schedule of informative tastings and events.
Our thriving Wine School goes from strength to strength, now offering WSET Award in Wines at Levels One to Three, running highly popular courses throughout the year for both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.
We are so proud of this achievement and how far we have come as an establishment for training and education of wine! Thank you to all the friends, family, customers, suppliers and of course staff who have made this possible. We look forward to continuing to share our love of wine!
