Good Afternoon

Please be aware that we will be closing at 13:00 tomorrow Saturday 21st October.

If you require any change for the Bridestowe Duck Race at the White Hart then please ensure you get this before 12:00 midday. You will need to do a cash withdrawal for change, we cannot exchange notes for change as a swap.

Also we will have Exe Valley Pizza Co. Here with us from 17:00. If you would like pizzas, then please ensure you have pre booked to avoid disappointment as they will be very busy.

Best of luck to everyone who has organised the duck race and keep an eye out for our auction pledge of an evenings fly fishing at Tavy Lakes. All you need to do is get a one day rod license online from the environment agency and I’ll supply your rod and flies.

All prepared and butchered within our own 5* FSA approved processing unit and blast frozen to retain freshness and flavour.

We also have a range of recipe guides from Game to eat to give an idea of how versatile game can be. Some great delicious recipes to be had.

We had a pensioner come in today to say that moorland fuels were charging him £0.99p a litre for domestic oil. Let’s be honest about this, that is way off the market price. So anyone wanting oil should use one of the clubs available. This is the quote price I got this evening.

We’re really very pleased to announce that Riverside Game, our venison business, has today achieved a 5 star Hygiene rating for our Venison processing and butchering unit by two senior FSA inspectors. Their parting words were “this is how all processing premises should be, well done”.

Watch this space for the availability of venison in the coming weeks.

Wahoo…as it’s gonna be a scorcher the next few days we have BBQ packs (£15 burgers, sausages, chicken and pork), also individual packs of burgers, minted lamb steaks and Chinese Pork Belly in stock.
