01/02: 🕺 apéro DJ: Noahmono. Kick February off with a bang and ‘s set of Balearic, soul, Latin & reggae. 6-10.
11/02: 🇫🇷 Le French Club. Grab a drink and have a chat en français. Flo’s family will be here this month, so even more frenchies than usual for you to have a practice with. All levels are welcome- from 7pm.
11/02: 🧁 The Pudding Hole are back with a delicious loved-up menu, contact directly for tickets.
13/02: 🎤 Open Mic. Join us for our super popular open mic which has seen performances from some top NN talent, hosted by . From 7pm. Free Entry.
13/02: 🧀 🍺 Masterclass: Cheese & Beer. Sure we’re all big fans of cheese and wine, but you have got to try this combo. For this masterclass we’ll be pairing some of our favourite cheeses with some top brews - give it a go, you may be surprised. £25pp. Tickets available in store or on eventbrite.
18/02: 🧐Philosophy Club. Each week, Rin chooses a philosopher and pairs them with a different wine. Just rock up, have a chat and meet new people.

03/12: 📷 Exhibition: Lou Boileau. Enjoy the work of celebrated Northampton photographer in our upstairs space. Lou will also be holding a talk on 11th December, where he’ll be sharing insights into his creative process. Tickets for the talk are £20pp and available in-store or on Lou Boileau’s website.

5/12: 🍽️ 🍷 Christmas Tapas & Wine Pairing. Award-winning chef will be transforming our upstairs space into a restaurant for this exclusive pop-up, and head winemaker from Invindia Vineyards will be pouring and explaining a perfectly-paired wine for each dish. 7pm. Meal £52pp. Wineflight £20pp. Tickets available in-store or on eventbrite.

6/12: 🍷 Masterclass: Invindia Vineyards. Sold out! Not to worry, Hugues will be at our Christmas market on Sunday offering tastings and talking all about his wine.

6/12: 🍔Food Truck: Moo Hatch. The delicious will be on the front from 5 serving up their incredible handmade chuck steak burgers.

You betcha we’re doing another Christmas Market!!

Our market last year was one of our favourite events of 2023- so of course we’re going to do it all again! Join us on Sunday 8th December from 11 as we welcome a whole load of local producers to 10 St Giles Square - jewellery, clothes, leather, art, candles, cakes, vinyl will all be available, and you can enjoy free product tastings all day long as we crack open the good stuff to help you choose the perfect drink for your Christmas table. AND we’ll be joined by the delicious and . Who said Christmas shopping had to be stressful? It’s going to be great - see you there!

November Food Events at VandB!

23/11: 🍷 🍴Le Beaujolais Nouveau Est Arrivé: Boeuf Bourguignon. We can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau with a fun-filled evening à la française! For one night only, you can enjoy a delicious Boeuf Bourguignon right here - just pre-book your portion either in-store on eventbrite, then rock up, grab a table and enjoy. Boeuf Bourguignon is a staple in our house, and we can’t wait to share it with you all here in Northampton. So if you’re a fan of tender pieces of beef, slow cooked in red wine with lots of herbs and veggies - then this isn’t one to miss! There’ll also be free tastings of Beaujolais in-store, and the great DJ will be on the decks.

We’ve got lots going on this weekend - tonight we’re joined by for our cider tasting masterclass, then tomorrow will be kicking off our Oktoberfest celebrations as he serves up some delicious Bratwurst Dogs ( + a veggie version) - available from 5. And there’ll be 3 special Oktoberfest beers available on draught from tomorrow. Then on Sunday we have the fundraiser taking place upstairs from 5pm.

Here you can see ‘Le Normand’- with thinly-sliced apple, generous chunks of Normandy Camembert, topped off with a drizzle of honey. This Sunday is our first Sunday Sessions live music event. We’re really excited to be welcoming Russell Heyworth to our upstairs room as he’ll be strumming away those Sunday blues with a live acoustic set.
