We're especially grateful to our supplier Ian Black, at Caledonian Christmas Trees who has very kindly donated a Christmas tree for the Community Garden again this year. Many thanks Ian!

- Thanks & Congratulations -
As many of you will be aware Flora has now moved on to a new job - so we want to thank her, wholeheartedly for all of her hard work over the last 2 years as a Supervisor with us. It has been great to see someone who was new to retail work so hard to learn the job along with all the challenges we have operating in the islands. To her credit, Flora has also made exceptional efforts to foster greater links with Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath and this has given the children opportunities to display their work in the shop for everyone in the community to enjoy. This has been such a success and we look forward to continuing her good work.
We congratulate Flora on her new job and wish her every success!

We also want to congratulate Iona on her promotion to the position of Deputy Manager! Iona has quickly become such an asset to our team and we are in no doubt she will excel in her new role. Well done Iona!

Thanks to everyone for turning out on Saturday for our BBQ and bake sale. We were delighted to have raised £3,000 for MacMillan Cancer Research and £1,552 for the Community Garden. Thanks to everyone who made donations including all the home baking, to MacLean's Bakery for putting on the BBQ, and to Cathie Laing for organising the bake sale and silent auction.
