Road works
Wessex Water are replacing the main water pipe along the road that passes outside our site and the road will be completely closed to traffic while the work is being done. The work is taking place over several months and is planned in 2 stages.
The first stage affects all traffic approaching from the Stoke St Gregory/ Burrowbridge direction because the work is being done on the section of road between the T junction of Curload and Stoke Road and our property. It does not affect travel from North Curry direction at all. Our advice is, wherever possible, approach us via North Curry. This phase is due to be completed in early May. We will give specific information about the next phase nearer the time as plans may change by then. The whole job is due to finish before the school holidays begin in mid July.
If travelling on the A361 use New Road to turn towards North Curry, do not turn off at Burrowbridge or Cutts Road.
If travelling from Langport direction continue through Fivehead and approach via North Curry. Do not turn use the Wick, Stathe route.
The road is closed to all traffic except bicycles. People on bicycles are requested to dismount and walk through the section where the work is being done.
The road will be open to traffic on Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
