We have power!!!!!
Power is back on. The lads from Northern Power Grid did a fantastic job working in this horrible weather.

We will be open as usual tomorrow morning.

Good news. They have found the fault and will start to replace the cable soon.

We have just been informed that we will lose the power by 3pm.
So we will be closing shortly.
Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, but unfortunately it's completely out of hour hands.

We will be back open tomorrow as usual, 9.30am till 8pm

Update...

Engineers are on site and dug up the pavement near the store. We still have partial power coming into the store, just like this morning.
If it all goes to plan, we should have the power restored in a few hours time.

WE ARE OPEN!

Just a quick update on the power cut.
There are currently 130 properties along Brighton Grove, Crossley Terrace and Stanhope Street that are without power. An engineer from Northern Power has been to the substation across the road from us, but unfortunately it's not a problem that can be fixed quickly. There is a fault, most likely on an underground cable, which will require further investigation and a longer repair period.
We do have partial power so you will be able to shop as normal, but certain products will be unavailable, (frozen and processed meat) until further notice.
