In September 2022, Ralph Lauren launched their 'Polo ID' collection on a global scale. Silverbean worked closely with Ralph Lauren to combine this key moment for the brand within their FY23 strategy, with a particular focus on collaborating with premium UK content partners. The strategy was to focus on upper funnel activity that would introduce the collection to new, highly relevant audiences and therefore, creating sale success!

Earlier this month, at our Newcastle HQ, we held a fundraiser to help raise money for the people in Turkey and Syria, following the devasting earthquakes. Hundreds of buildings have been destroyed and survivors are now facing freezing conditions and need urgent aid.

Here's what our team got up to:

The Big Swap! - we invited everyone to have a clear out and bring in their old clothes and homeware items that they no longer want and held a mini market where our team could donate £5 to participate. Everything left over was donated to St Vincents, a community support project helping people in the North East. 👗

Bakes & Cakes - To make sure we were all fed and watered for the Big Swap, we held a bake sale in the office where our team made donations in exchange for homemade treats. 🍰

Raffle - £5 for a raffle entry. A great way to get all our friends and family involved too and hopefully win a prize hamper! (local business vouchers were up for grabs). 🎫

Lets Run; Turkey - Syria - The challenge is to run 59 miles, the distance between the two earthquakes, in the month of May. 🏃

We've successfully raised £411, huge well done for everyone for getting involved!

Once you’ve identified a partner you want to work with, what should your approach be to recruit them? 🤔

Recruiting new partners can be hard and often the amount of effort it takes is underrated. It requires consistency, persistence and the ability to differentiate yourself from all of the other brands out there. You need to demonstrate your value through insights and be able to sell yourself as to why the partner is the right fit for you.

Is there an arm of salesmanship when it comes to recruiting an affiliate partner? 📈 💲

70% of partnerships fail to meet their aligned goals. Could this be down to failing to communicate effectively at the recruitment stage? Fundamentally, a great salesperson is one who focuses on building quality relationships, where they explain the mutual benefit very clearly. A great salesperson should be transparent, persuasive and ethical. Qualities of a great affiliate manager!

Supporting our clients by becoming an extension of the team. 👏 👪

After working with The BodyShop since March 2022, they recently approached us to help aid the growth of their EMEA influencer program.

Together with the BodyShop team, Silverbean created and tested a number of different frameworks to build out a strong and successful influencer marketing campaign to then be used as the blueprint for future years and for other regions to build upon. We did this by launching campaign specific tactics,to track performance, increasing the demographic of the channel and setting specific KPIs to measure our long term success. 📈
