🚨 CRIMINAL DAMAGE CCTV APPEAL 🚨
💥 Our window was needlessly punched and kicked causing a whole large pane of glass to be damaged and needing replacement.
The incident happened on Sunday 1st August early morning (just after Saturday night) at 1:48am.
🗣️ A male was heard and seen arguing with a young lady, and then decided the punch and kick the window until it was damaged, this will cost several hundred pounds to replace and is just mindless. 🤯
He's approx 25-35, 5 foot 10, white, slim build, short dark hair with a little stubble, black T-shirt and a tattoo sleeve on his left arm. He was walking up Dean St from the direction of Livello
The incident has been reported to Northumbria Police and we are hoping they can also put an appeal out to identify the suspect.
This is the second time the shop has had it's windows damaged in the last 20 months, the last incident was unresolved despite CCTV and blood being present.
📢 Please share and try aid this investigation.
💬 Please also try keep calm, cool and collected in the comments.
❣️ Thanks for your time and support.

I can't wait to reopen on April 12th (🤞) and see you all this Summer, in HD as well!.. I'm getting Laser Eye Surgery at Optical Express very shortly 👁️🔬😬
Thanks to Si Beckwith for opening my eyes 👀

Our current little shop under the arch called UpSide Down Presents has been going almost 4 years, and as well as gifts and cards, souvenirs have done proper canny, as us Geordies say.
We plotted our next move and additional space, and set our eyes on our arch rival, literally! The unit across the road, under the same arch that carries trains in and out of Newcastle’s Central station - which has been several iterations of Estate Agents. When we heard/saw them move out, we had to roll the dice, and cross the road as well as our fingers.
So we successfully secured the 117 square foot space which would be at 6 Dean Street to be precise...
GET IN!... and that’s what we literally did...
After the Beast from the East moved along, our lovely letting agent from Network Rail could actually make it up from the headquarters in York on the train, and sign us up!
So the shop had some ghastly red on the inside.
So the shop came sort of with fixtures and fittings, in the form of a makeshift s**t desk!...
Even outside was a bit shabby, and the redness continued like a patchy rash, a quick repair job after a van crashed into it when it was the estate agents just prior, a canny crap fix up job was done...
So the next day, in more daylight, the shop was officially ours, and here is a full frontal from that moment so you can see what we had to play/work with...
Prior to the previous tenants, who were lovely neighbours, the old old sign of the Accommodation Bureau was present - right lets commence some DIY rapid shop renovation shots...
So that takes us up until the 20th April 2018, with opening date in just two weeks time (Saturday May 5th 2018), we got a lot of work to do!
Best get some kip as Saturdays as we all know in shops, are proper work days!
